20th TV Ups Casting Exec Liz Paulson
The seven-year vet of the studio has most recently worked on 'Empire,' 'The Last Man on Earth,' 'Life in Pieces' and 'Star.'
Liz Paulson has been elevated to senior vp of casting at 20th Century Fox Television. The tenured casting executive has been with the studio for seven years.
“Liz came to the studio seven years ago, having worked in the commercial casting world, and she has really made her mark,” casting topper and Fox Television Group executive vp Sharon Klein said Friday in a statement. “She’s whip smart, wildly creative and an incredible business woman, and everyone, from the Chairmen to our showrunners, relies on her greatly, as do I. I’m so happy to recognize her with this promotion to senior vice president, which she has more than earned.”
Paulson has been with 20th TV since 2010, and her time there has seen her work on such hits as Empire, New Girl, The Last Man on Earth, Star and 24. She also has worked on many off-network series for Fox, including CBS' Life in Pieces, FX's American Horror Story and ABC's Fresh Off the Boat.
Paulson began her career in the commercial landscape before moving to TV.
