Drew Barr directs the 'Chappelle's Show' co-creator in '3 Mics' at the Lynn Redgrave Theater.

Neal Brennan is ready for New York City, and John Legend is on board.

The comedian and co-creator of Chappelle's Show will make his NYC theatrical debut with his new show 3 Mics. John Legend and his Get Lifted partners Mike Jackson and Ty Stiklorius have signed on to produce the limited engagement.

The show begins previews on Feb. 23 before a March 3 opening night at the Lynn Redgrave Theater (45 Bleecker Street).

Directed by Drew Barr, 3 Mics sees Brennan alternating between three separate microphones, each giving voice to the various aspects of his life: the first microphone is marked by his sardonic take on race, gender and contemporary heroes and hypocrites; the second mic showcases his punchy wit with one-liners he’s crafted over the years but couldn’t find a home for; and the third stands for stories of his personal struggles, dealing with everything from depression to relationships.

Already performed in Los Angeles and praised by Dave Chappelle and John Mulaney, the solo show has Brennan discussing "the challenges that have shaped who he is today: life as a soloist with shoddy confidence and building a life in the shadow of parental abuse and alcoholism."

"To be on Broadway is a dream come true. Brando, Lansbury, Vereen...you name 'em, they played here," said Brennan in a statement, moments before told he is playing Bleecker Street. "Like I said, Bleecker Street is a fantastic street. There used to be a Kim's Video down there and it was wonderful."

3 Mics joins Get Lifted's slate of projects, including Lionsgate’s Damien Chazelle-directed feature La La Land, the Obamas' first-date narrative Southside With You, and The Black Count to be written and directed by Cary Fukunaga for Sony Pictures.
