'30 Rock' Parody Enlists Sarah Palin to Mock Tina Fey
The political commentator's spoof even has a couple of guest appearances by Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain.
Tina Fey recently made fun of her doppelganger Sarah Palin when she returned to host Saturday Night Live over the weekend, and on Monday, the political commentator responded right back with a bit of her own.
In a minute long trailer posted to YouTube by the Independent Journal Review, the once vice-presidential candidate plays a Fey-like character in "31 Rock," a mockery of Fey's popular, award-winning show on NBC, which ran from 2006 to 2013.
The Independent Journal has been described a BuzzFeed-like conservative news site. Formed in 2012, the Independent Journal receives more than 35 million unique victors each month, according to the site.
Palin's trailer has her playing TV writer Lynn Melon in New York, trying to create a hit variety show while dealing with her nerdy writers and overcoming PC hurdles.
The spoof even has a couple of guest appearances by Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain.
