3.5 Earthquake Hits Los Angeles on Sunday Night
Quips James Van Der Beek on Twitter: "Not sure which is scarier... that we just felt an #earthquake tremor, or that I immediately went to Twitter for my news about it..."
A 3.5 magnitude earthquake shook Los Angeles on Sunday night.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was centered about a kilometer west-southwest of View Park-Windsor Hills, in South L.A. and occurred at 9:17 p.m.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the L.A. Fire Department went into "earthquake mode" immediately afterward, with teams sent out to check for possible damage.
Twitter users, of course, also went into action, with famous Angelenos weighing in.
