42West Ups Five Publicists to Managing Directors
Susan Ciccone, Linda Guerrero, Tom Piechura, Amanda Silverman and Meredith O’Sullivan Wasson have all been promoted at the PR firm.
Public relations firm 42West has named Susan Ciccone, Linda Guerrero, Tom Piechura, Amanda Silverman and Meredith O’Sullivan Wasson to the posts of managing directors.
The company, which began as PR firm the Dart Group when it was founded by Leslie Dart in 2004 before becoming 42West in 2006 after Amanda Lundberg and Allan Mayer joined as partners, called the quintet “the backbone” of the firm and “its future leadership.”
“Their new titles are a reflection of the key role they have been playing for some time now in the rapid growth and gratifying success 42West has enjoyed,” the three founders said in a statement.
Ciccone leads 42West’s west coast entertainment marketing team and has overseen the national film campaigns for movies ranging from Breaking Dawn Parts 1 & 2 to The Hurt Locker and the Oscar campaigns of films such as Life of Pi, The Social Network and War Horse.

As head of the company’s east coast talent division, Silverman works with actors such as Penelope Cruz and Charlize Theron and musical artists such as Mary J. Blige and Rihanna.
