52 Weeks Entertainment to Distribute Summit's 'Source Code,' 'The Impossible' in India

NEW DELHI -- Independent distribution company 52 Weeks Entertainment Inc. has acquired India distribution rights for two titles from Summit Entertainment, Source Code and The Impossible.
“Both films are sure to appeal to our audiences. While Source Code, is an edge of the seat action thriller, The Impossible is based on a true story of the 2004 tsunami in Thailand. Spectacular special effects blend with heart-wrenching emotional drama," said 52 Weeks Entertainment Inc. head Suniel Wadhwa said.
Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon), Source Code will release in April and stars Jake Gyllenhaal as Captain Colter Stevens, who discovers he’s part of a mission to find the bomber of a commuter train. He inhabits the body of another person and relives the last eight minutes over and over again, unearthing clues each time as to the identity of the bomber.
The Impossible is directed by Juan Antonio Bayona (The Orphanage) set for a November starring Naomi Watts, Ewan McGregor and Tim Holland.
52 Weeks Entertainment Inc. has released recent Hindi films such as comedy caper Tere Bin Laden while in certain Indian territories it has sub-distributed titles such as I Hate Luv Stories, Ishqiya, Robot and even The Hurt Locker (in the southern city of Mysore).
