7th Art Nabs Rights to Berlin-Winning Documentary 'In Heaven, Underground'

7th Art Releasing has acquired North American rights to Britta Wauer's In Heaven, Underground: The Jewish Cemetery in Berlin-Weissensee, which had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it won the Panorama Audience Award.

The documentary is a look at the oldest Jewish cemetery still in use in Europe.

The film is currently at the Hot Docs International Documentary Film Festival in Toronto, and 7th Art plans to continue to play it on the festival circuit before releasing it theatrically later this year.
