'7th Heaven' Actress Beverly Mitchell, Christina Cox Board 'Deadly Dance Mom'

7th Heaven star Beverly Mitchell and Christina Cox (The Chronicles of Riddick) have grabbed the leads in the indie thriller Deadly Dance Mom, which is set to start shooting next month in Toronto.
Director Paul Lynch (Prom Night, The Keeper) will helm the feature from Certified Organic Entertainment, a joint venture between Factory Film Studio and 9 Light Entertainment.
Deadly Dance Mom is produced by Pasha Patriki and Michael Patrick Lilly.
Mitchell, best known for her nine seasons on 7th Heaven in the role of Lucy Camden, will play Beth, a warm-hearted, widowed mother raising her only daughter, Melanie, in the pic. The actress also recently played Lucy Foster in Get Out Alive, a TV movie for Lifetime Movie Network.
U.S. casting for Deadly Dance Mom was done by Ricki Maslar, with Stephanie Gorin casting in Toronto.
