With more than 25 years experience as an interior designer, 60 pieces in his furniture line Michael Berman Limited, and plenty of luxury brand product collaborations (think ROHL, Kravet and Brown Jordan), there is no one more qualified to open a high-end showroom than Michael Berman.
“My new showroom has been a fabulous opportunity for me to connect with and meet some really interesting people, designers and celebs,” says Berman, of Bronze Studio (7257 Beverly Blvd., Suite 100), which recently opened on Beverly Boulevard. But don’t ask him to divulge exactly who those people might be. “My client list has always been a private who’s who in the entertainment and business industries—people who prefer to remain anonymous—and I respect their wishes for privacy.”
Berman, who has appeared on Bravo’s Top Design as well as HGTV’s Design School, carries a mix of seating, lighting, tables, mirrors and unique accessories of his own design along with vintage pieces and artwork that the designer has collected all over the world. The through line? “It fuses inspiration from my favorite design eras—American Modernism, Asian and Neoclassicism,” he says.
Two of the more popular offerings at Bronze Studio exhibit such blending—the Falcon Sofa, which he describes as “modern simplicity with a reference to 1940s Film Noir styling” and the Moongate Console, which he refers to as “our most original styled cabinet to date.”
