A$AP Rocky Signs With WME
The Grammy-nominated rapper's debut album hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 last year
A$AP Rocky has signed with WME, The Hollywood Reporter and Billboard have learned.
The rapper's first major-label album, Long.Live.A$AP, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in January 2013. The single "F—in' Problems," featuring Drake and Kendrick Lamar, peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for best rap song.
Rocky is part of the A$AP Mob, which recently abandoned plans to put out a collaborative release. However, A$AP Yams, another member of the group, suggested that Rocky's second album might arrive soon, posting the message "FLACKO JODYE SEASON THIS FALL" on his Tumblr. The sophomore album is expected to come out at the beginning of next year.
Rocky continues to be repped by Chace Johnson at AWGE and Damien Granderson of Davis Shapiro.
