Aaron Meyerson Out at CBS Distribution on Heels of John Nogawski
Amid an ongoing restructuring, Maureen FitzPatrick and Joe Ferullo have been named to senior vp programming posts.
On the heels of John Nogawski's departure as CBS Television Distribution president, there's been another shake-up at the division.
Aaron Meyerson, CTD's president of programming and development and Nogawski's No. 2, is now exiting the company.

Amid the restructuring, Maureen FitzPatrick and Joe Ferullo have been appointed to senior vp programming and development positions.
Nogawski hired Meyerson in January 2011, replacing Terry Wood, who had stepped down three months earlier. But two weeks ago, CBS announced that Nogawski was departing the company as part of a restructuring that merged domestic and international operations. CBS Studios International president Armando Nuñez took on oversight of worldwide operations, including domestic distribution.
While CBS has been the top supplier, it had a hard time breaking new first-run shows under Nogawski's reign. The most recent effort is a talk show starring Jeff Probst, which has gotten off to a slow start in the syndication ratings.
Before joining CTD, Meyerson had been a principal at digital media tech startup Coincident TV and previously spent eight years developing unscripted programming for cable networks while in senior posts at MTV Networks and Oxygen.
Meanwhile, FitzPatrick and Ferullo will oversee current programming and the development of first-run shows. They will report to Nunez.

FitzPatrick joins CTD from FremantleMedia North America, where she was senior vp comedy development, developing, selling and producing scripted live-action and animated adult comedies for cable. She most recently was executive producer of GSN's new game show Pyramid.
She also has had overall deals at multiple studios, including Sony, Buena Vista and Fox TV Studios, and has served as exec producer on daytime talk shows including Living it Up! With Ali & Jack, Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus and Donny and Marie.
Ferullo has been with CTD since 2006, serving as vp programming and development. He is responsible for developing new shows and is currently overseeing Judge Judy, Dr. Phil, The Doctors, Rachael, Judge Joe Brown and Inside Edition.
Before joining CBS, Ferullo was a producer at NBC and NBC News.
