Aaron Rodgers Signs With CAA Sports Off the Field
The agency will represent the Green Bay Packers quarterback in marketing, film, television and other opportunities.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers has signed with CAA Sports for off-the-field representation, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. His players agent remains David Dunn at Athletes First.
CAA will work with the NFL star, who was named Super Bowl MVP in 2010, on opportunities in film, television, endorsement, speaking, business development, digital, publishing, philanthropy and more.
“I have always been interested in exploring ways to parlay the things I am most passionate about into new business endeavors,” Rodgers said in a statement. “I am excited to partner with CAA, as I am confident that together we can create entrepreneurial opportunities that enable me to tell the stories I am eager to tell across a wide spectrum of mediums and platforms.”
Since being selected in the first round of the 2005 draft, Rodgers has been selected to the Pro Bowl six times. His off-the-field activities include appearances on Celebrity Jeopardy! (where he defeated astronaut Mark Kelly and Shark Tank’s Kevin O’Leary), The Office, Key and Peele and State Farm ads. He also co-created the foundation itsAaron.com and is a supporter of MACC Fund and Raise Hope for Congo.
“Beyond being a remarkable athlete and leader on the field, Aaron has a clear vision for growing his brand and business off the field,” CAA Sports co-head Michael Levine said in a statement. “We are thrilled to work with Aaron during the prime of his career and look forward to partnering with key leaders across the agency to build a business portfolio that will enhance his existing and already impressive legacy and last well beyond his record-setting on-field career.”
