“I hope I don't get killed by the studio for giving too much away,” Sorkin said, “but this entire movie is going to be three scenes, and three scenes only, that all take place in real time.”

Sorkin revealed the details at Newsweek & The Daily Beast’s Hero Summit on Thursday. This is the first time the Academy Award-winning screenwriter has spoken publicly about his specific plans for the highly anticipated bio-pic.

According to Sorkin, the three scenes will run 30 minutes in length and play out in real time. Sorkin defined the three scenes as “all set right before three major product launches.” Those product launches are: the original Macintosh computer (1984), the NeXT Cube (1990), and the original iPod (2001).

According to the Los Angeles Times, The Social Network scribe has been meeting with various people who knew Jobs intimately, including Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak.

"I've been able to talk to these people who revere him in spite of the fact that he made all of them cry at one point or another," he said. "But he made all of them better at what they were doing."

Sorkin also revealed his plans to end the film with the text or voiceover of the quote, "Here's to the crazy ones," which refers to Apple's famous "Think Different" TV ad campaign from 1997.

"If I can earn that ending then I'll have written the movie that I want to write," Sorkin said.

No casting news has been announced.

The as-yet-untitled film is being produced by Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady.
