ABC Orders 'Celebrity Wife Swap'

ABC has ordered six episodes of Celebrity Wife Swap, sources said.

Featuring celebrities trading their often lavish lifestyles for a week, the series hails from Zodiak USA, which also is behind the network's Wife Swap as well as Secret Millionaire and Syfy's scripted BBC remake Being Human.

Wife Swap, based on the British format, has been airing in syndication on Lifetime and last aired original episodes on ABC in late 2010.

The U.K. format has featured some celebrity episodes, including when comedian Freddie Starr and his wife Donna swapped with Samantha Fox and her partner Myra Strattan.
