ABC’s ‘Revenge’ Coming to British TV Screens

LONDON – ABC Studios’ Revenge, starring Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe, is to land on British screens via U.K. broadcaster Channel 4’s E4 digital channel.

E4, the broadcaster’s home for edgy, youth and entertainment output, sealed a deal with Disney U.K. & Ireland for the show about a seemingly friendly and polite young girl hell bent on revenge in the Hamptons.

Written and executive-produced by Mike Kelley (Swingtown), Revenge scored a Golden Globe nomination for Stowe’s turn.

Channel 4 head of acquisitions Gill Hay described the “primetime soap” as a “delicious guilty pleasure encompassing all the money, power and privilege of the Hamptons and a young woman set on revenge.”

The show is scheduled to make its U.K. debut on E4 later this year.
