Abrams Artists Agency Promotes Four Executives
The restructured leadership "will lead us into the future in exciting, contemporary and creative ways," says chairman and CEO Harry Abrams.
Abrams Artists Agency has promoted four of its executives, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The restructured senior leadership is intended to streamline operations between the agency’s Los Angeles and New York offices.
Neal Altman and Robert Attermann are now both COOs of the bicoastal agency, while Brian Cho has been appointed CFO. In Los Angeles, Marni Rosenzweig has been named senior vp and will lead the LA talent division, which includes both the adult and youth departments.
Altman has been with the agency for 37 years, practically since its inception in 1977. He has worked in nearly every department but found especial success representing voiceover actors around the world, expanding Abrams’ TV and radio commercial division into an industry leader. He is a co-managing director of the New York office alongside Attermann, who is head of the talent division there. Attermann joined Abrams 27 years ago after beginning his career in the ICM mailroom.
Cho will now oversee the company’s financial management on both coasts while continuing to supervise operations in LA, where he previously served as vp finance and manager before that. Since joining Abrams’ business affairs department 16 years ago, he has worked to optimize the agency’s cash flow, improve profits and build an infrastructure to facilitate its growth.
Rosenzweig has spent her entire 18-year career at Abrams, starting in the mailroom and then becoming an agent in training. In addition to her responsibility of overseeing talent representation in LA, she also established the agency’s philanthropic arm “Agents of Change,” which has partnered with local organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Heal the Bay and the Greater West Hollywood Food Coalition.
“This is an exciting time for Abrams Artists Agency,” chairman and CEO Harry Abrams said in a statement. “I could not be more proud of our nearly four decades in the business and my outstanding staff members who have worked tirelessly to get us here. I am confident that this newly appointed structure will lead us into the future in exciting, contemporary and creative ways. While we continue to work behind the scenes to ensure the very best for the company, our philosophy remains the same — our clients are our most important focus.”
