ACM Awards: Backstreet Boys Join Florida Georgia Line for Medley
The boy band and country group performed their collab onstage at the T-Mobile Arena for the 52nd ACMs on Sunday night.
Two music worlds collided at the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards, where the Backstreet Boys joined eight-time ACM winners Florida Georgia Line for their collaborative song, “God, Your Mama and Me,” and a surprise duet of the boy band's hit song, "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)."
Florida Georgia Line kicked off the night's final performance by belting their heartwarming new single, only to be joined by the boy band phenomenon. Halfway through the performance, the two groups transitioned into Backstreet's dance-infused anthem, making many of the country stars jump out of their seats to dance along.
Florida Georgia Line have won eight ACMs including single record of the year for their hit song “H.O.L.Y.” and vocal duo of the year. This year, they were nominated in eight categories, including entertainer of the year.
Other performers of the night included Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban and more.
Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley returned to host the ceremony for the second year. The ACMs aired live from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday on CBS.
The ACM Awards are produced by Dick Clark productions. DCP is part of Eldridge Industries, the U.S. holding company whose assets also include the Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group.
