ACM and Dick Clark Productions announced the first round of performers on Wednesday, including Bryan, Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, Hunter Hayes, Miranda Lambert, George Strait and The Band Perry. All performers aside from Strait, who recently released a new single off his forthcoming album, are nominated for trophies at the April 7 ceremony. (Clarkson, typically regarded as a pop artist, is up for vocal event of the year for her "Don't Rush" collaboration with Vince Gill. It is her third nomination in the category.)
