Adam Pally Moves to UTA (Exclusive)
The actor is the latest to follow the 11 CAA agents to the other agency.
Happy Endings and The Mindy Project actor Adam Pally is joining the 11 agents — and many of their clients — who jumped from CAA to UTA over the past week.
Pally is the latest actor to move to UTA after five top comedy agents — Jason Heyman, Martin Lesak, Greg Cavic, Gregory McKnight and Nick Nuciforo — dealt the industry a bombshell last Tuesday when they left CAA to become partners at UTA. By the end of the week, five more colleagues had joined them, and one more, Andrew Skikne, joined them Monday.
Pally most recently was seen on Fox comedy series The Mindy Project. His recent film credits include Life After Beth and Iron Man 3, and he's got quite a few projects in the can, including Lionsgate’s Dirty Grandpa with Zac Efron, indie Bad Night, Night Owls (which premiered at SXSW) and Slow Learners, which will show at Tribeca.
CAA is suing UTA, Cavic and McKnight for claims including intentional interference with contractual relations and breach of fiduciary duty.
