Aerosmith Pushes New Album Release to Fall
Frontman Steven Tyler insists that his band has "got the goods," but is hoping to debut "Music From Another Dimension" during a week with less marketplace competition.
In the midst of their North American summer tour, the rockers of Aerosmith have announced that they will be pushing the release date of their next album back to early November. The upcoming release, Music From Another Dimension, features new material from the Grammy Award-winning band, standing as their fifteenth studio effort and first album in eight years.

Frontman Steven Tyler said in an interview with Cleveland radio station 100.7 WMMS, "[The album is] pushed back because too many people are releasing those weeks, and we don't want to spet on their release dates. So we said, 'You know what? We've got the goods -- ain't no doubt about it -- we'll wait another couple of months."

Music From Another Dimension was originally scheduled to street on Aug. 28, the same day Alanis Morissette will release her highly anticipated Havoc and Bright Lights and Wiz Khalifa will debut his sophomore studio effort, O.N.I.F.C., among others. Aerosmith's album will now hit shelves on Nov. 6.
Despite the pushed-back date, Aerosmith did debut the video for "Legendary Child," one of the tracks on the up and coming album, just yesterday on VEVO.
In the mean time, Aerosmith continues to traverse across the continental U.S. for their three-month-long summer tour Global Warming, which kicked off June 16 in Minneapolis, MN and concludes August 8 in Tacoma, WA.
