The annual, invitation-only luncheon recognizes the year's 10 best films and 10 best TV programs as selected by juries of film and TV artists, scholars, critics and AFI trustees. The deadline for TV submissions is Oct. 26, and the deadline for film submissions is Nov. 1. The honorees will be announced Dec. 10.
