AFM 2011: Tiberius Film Picks Up Dimension Horror Trio for Germany

Los Angeles – Tiberius Film has snatched up a trio of horror sequels on the eve of the American Film Market, picking up Piranha 3DD, Children of the Corn: Genesis and Hellraiser: Revelations for the German market.

The horror comedy Piranha 3DD stars Ving Rhames, Christopher Lloyd and Paul Scheer. It’s the sequel to surprise hit Piranha 3D, which Weinstein/Dimension bowed domestically, earning some $25 million. Worldwide, Piranha 3D grossed $83 million. Children of the Corn: Genesis and Hellraiser: Revelations were both direct-to-DVD releases stateside via the Dimension Extreme label.
