Nancy McCook, a veteran casting director and agent, died peacefully Dec. 6 in Los Angeles from lung cancer. She was 70.

McCook, who was instrumental in organizing the Commercial Casting Directors Society, formed Anderson/McCook Casting with Maxine Anderson. After Anderson died, she created Anderson, McCook, White Casting with new business partner Catherine White.
