'Albert Nobbs' Blu-ray, DVD Debut Set For May

Albert Nobbs is scheduled for release on Blu-ray, DVD, digital download and On Demand on May 15th, Lionsgate announced Thursday. The Oscar-nominated drama starring Glenn Close will be accompanied on DVD and Blu-ray by a modest selection of bonus materials, including an audio commentary and deleted scenes.

Close was nominated for Best Actress for her performance as the title character, a woman passing as a man in order to survive and work in 19th Century England. The film co-stars Janet McTeer (The Woman in Black), nominated for Best Supporting Actress, and also earned a Best Achievement in Makeup Academy Award nomination. Other costars include Aaron Johnson (Kick-Ass), Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Match Point), and Brendan Gleeson (The Guard).
