Alcon Entertainment Options Supernatural Thriller 'My Descent Into Death'
Jinder Ho will pen the script for the near-death experience story.
Alcon Entertainment has picked up the rights to My Descent Into Death, author Howard Storm’s first person account of his near-death experience.
Jinder Ho, who wrote The Martian VR experience for Fox, will adapt the novel, which centers on Storm's journey through Hell.
The Pursuit of Happyness executive producer Mark Clayman will produce the project, along with Alcon heads Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson. Alcon's head of development, Carl Rogers, will oversee the project for the company.
Alcon is currently working on the sequel to Ridley Scott's Blade Runner, which will see the return of star Harrison Ford, who will appear alongside franchise newcomers Ryan Gosling and Robin Wright.
