'The Newsroom' Star Alison Pill Accidentally Tweets Topless Photo
"My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently," she writes afterward.
The Newsroom star Alison Pill shared a little more of herself on Twitter than she meant to on Wednesday.
The actress accidentally tweeted a photo in which she could be seen lying on a bed topless while wearing a pair of oversized eyeglasses. (The picture has since been removed but can still be found on the Internet.)

"Yep. That picture happened," Pill tweeted afterward. "Ugh. My tech issues have now reached new heights, apparently. How a deletion turned into a tweet... Apologies."
Pill's fiance, actor Jay Baruchel, also addressed the incident on Twitter.
"My fiancee is an hilarious dork. #imustgladitdidnthappentomefirst," he quipped.
Pill's Twitter followers apparently weren't offended by the picture.
"At least you owned up to it and didn't blame it on 'a hack'. No apologies needed btw," wrote one named Chuck Reynolds, while another named Shauna Castorena added that "tweets happen." Lex Friedman told her, "Honestly, we didn't mind."

According to the Los Angeles Times, Pill had about 2,000 new Twitter followers by Wednesday afternoon on the heels of her gaffe.
In Newsroom, Pill plays Maggie, an associate producer of the news program at the center of HBO's drama.
