AMAs 2011: Winners and Nominees Complete List

Adele, Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj were among the top winners at the 39th annual American Music Awards.

The 39th annual AMAs were broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, Nov. 20 on ABC.

Nicki Minaj opened up the show, which was executive produced by Dick Clark Productions’ Orly Adelson and Larry Klein, AMA producer. Justin Bieber followed with "Mistletoe" off his just-released Christmas album, and The Band Perry came on next, performing their hit, "If I Die Young." A total of 17 acts performed throughout the night, including Kelly Clarkson, Chris Brown, Pitbull and Katy Perry.

Leading the pack of nominated artists for the 2011 American Music Awards were British chanteuse Adele, with four nominations including artist of the year and favorite album for her latest, 21.

Katy PerryLady Gaga, Lil WayneRihanna, The Band Perry and Taylor Swift each saw three nods while Beyonce, Bruno MarsChris BrownJason AldeanKanye West, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull collected two nominations.

Winners were determined by online voting, and fans could vote at the Coca-Cola AMA website, amavote.com, as well as AMA.abc.com.
