Yellow Is the Unofficial Color of Cannes
The French Riviera has got the ladies feeling bright.
The bright and sunny French Riviera seems to have inspired more than just the stars' warm, summery glows.
Anna Kendrick, Amal Clooney and Jessica Chastain are just a few of the leading ladies who have hit the Cannes carpet in shades of yellow, opting for pale pastels, rich marigold hues and every lemony tone in between.
During the festival's opening ceremony, both Kendrick (in Stella McCartney) and Chastain (in Armani Prive) paired the yellow stunners with diamond collar necklaces and glamorous deep side-parted 'dos.
Clooney, too, arrived on Thursday sporting Old Hollywood waves with her soft pastel Versace gown. However, George Clooney's better half chose to accessorize her yellow number with contrasting bright red drop earrings that perfectly matched her rouge pout.

Even for daytime, the ladies couldn't get enough of the sunny hue. Juror Kirsten Dunst stepped out for the Cafe Society photocall in a pale Dior frock on Wednesday afternoon, while Blake Lively chose a dark, marigold-hued velvet Valentino number at the film's luncheon on Thursday.
