Amanda Bynes Released From Psychiatric Care, Vents on Twitter
The former child star lobs virtual attacks at her family and manager for having her locked up
Amanda Bynes was released from a psychiatric facility in Pasadena on Thursday night, according to USA Today and several other news outlets. The former child actress took to Twitter shortly thereafter to vent about her pain and the people she says had her locked up.
In a rapid-fire series of tweets, Bynes set her sites on her parents and manager, Sam Lufti, and delivered a pointed attack against her father.
I got released from the hospital that Sam Lufti and my parents arranged to send me to because my dad is humiliated by what he's done— amanda bynes (@amandabynes) October 31, 2014
She let her followers know she plans to appear in court on Friday.
I am going to court today with my lawyer to prove that I am more than capable of handling my personal life and finances and I am enraged— amanda bynes (@amandabynes) October 31, 2014
Then she elaborated on her first jab at her family, accusing her father of being a "sexual predator."
The police filed a report against my dad - I am not able to be in the same room with him. He is a sexual predator and he SHOULD BE IN JAIL— amanda bynes (@amandabynes) October 31, 2014
Bynes defended herself in a series of tweets and suggested she plans to take action.
So sorry you've been fooled by Sam Lufti and my parents, but they are lying about stealing money from me and i cannot continue to allow them— amanda bynes (@amandabynes) October 31, 2014
To abuse me any more !— amanda bynes (@amandabynes) October 31, 2014
