Dress du Jour: Amanda Seyfried's Sexy Slip Gown
Fitting for showing off her toned back.
The Dress: A silky slip dress with cutouts and a loose ruffled hemline designed by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci.
The Wearer: Amanda Seyfried, a longtime muse of the designer's.
The Event: The 12th annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund awards in New York on Monday evening. The Twin Peaks actress accompanied Tisci, who was honored at the event with the title of inspirational designer of the year.
Why We Dig: The dress may come off as simply a silk nightie to some, but the draped hemline, the cutouts and the backside's untied ribbon added a bit more dimension to the otherwise monochromatic number. With nude makeup and minimal jewels, Seyfried let the gown do all the talking — and it definitely had a certain sex appeal that felt totally effortless. Her matching Givenchy peep-toe sandals completed the sexy look.
