Amazon's LoveFilm, NBCUniversal International TV Strike Content Deal
The agreement covers such shows as the U.S. version of "The Office," "30 Rock," "Heroes" and "Knight Rider."
LONDON -- Amazon.com's British online streaming video service LoveFilm has struck a content licensing deal with NBCUniversal International TV Distribution that will provide subscribers access to hundreds of episodes of iconic U.S. TV shows.
Financial details weren't disclosed.
The deal covers such shows as the U.S. version of The Office and 30 Rock, Heroes and 1980s cult hit Knight Rider.
It follows previous deals reached by the Netflix competitor with TV partners, including ABC, the BBC and ITV.
