As part of the restructuring, AMC's top marketing, PR and research execs will also add SudanceTV duties to their purview.

Joel Stillerman is following boss Charlie Collier to SundanceTV.

AMC's newly minted president of original programming and development is adding the sister network best known for niche critical darlings including Rectify and The Honorable Woman to his purview. The news comes two and a half months after AMC's president, Collier, added Sundance duties to his portfolio. As part of the ongoing restructuring, 14-year AMC Networks veteran Jan Diedrichsen, who most recently served as senior vp affiliate marketing, will also move into a newly created position of executive director for SundanceTV.

“The new management structure for AMC and SundanceTV acknowledges the outstanding contributions of a dynamic and proven leadership team and positions both networks for continued success,” Collier said in a statement announcing the news Tuesday, adding of his executives: “Joel has had a meaningful impact on the growth and evolution of AMC, and SundanceTV will benefit from his programming expertise and leadership. Jan is a seasoned and talented executive and his role will be critical to the ongoing growth and development of SundanceTV as a network, a brand and a business.”

Going forward, several other members of Collier's AMC management team will add SundanceTV responsibilities as well. Among them: AMC publicity's newly promoted exec VP Marnie Black, who recently oversaw a robust campaign to cap off the final season of signature series Mad Men, along with programming and scheduling head Tom Halleen, digital media exec Mac McKean, research chief Melanie Schneider and marketing honcho Linda Schupack. Together, the team will look to get more eyeballs on the cable channel — now in only 57 million homes, compared with AMC's 95 million — the way it famously did AMC, with a collection of zeitgeist hits including Men, Breaking Bad and juggernaut The Walking Dead.

Collier's move, and those that have followed, had been rumored ever since former Sundance chief Sarah Barnett was tapped in November as president and general manager of BBC America, in which AMC Nets acquired a nearly 50 percent stake last fall. In the interim, Barnett had continued to oversee Sundance, which will launch original series Deutschland 83 tomorrow.
