Dress du Jour: Amy Poehler's Cute Graphic Romper
Because what else would one wear to the premiere of 'Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp'?
The Dress: A graphic gray and white romper by Beckley, with playful Crayola accents of blue, yellow and pink.
The Wearer: Funny lady Amy Poehler, who is styled by Karla Welch (who's also Hailee Steinfeld and Olivia Wilde's gown guru).
The Event: The New York City premiere of Netflix’s hotly anticipated reboot Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp, in which Poehler stars alongside Paul Rudd (dapper in a navy suit), Michael Ian Black and Lake Bell, who attended the premiere in a white blouse with a pair of extremely flared trousers.
Why We Dig: Rompers are a relatively tough piece to pull off on red carpets, but Poehler does it with aplomb. (It may help, too, that hers, at least from the front, looks convincingly like a dress.) It’s chic enough to suit her age and aesthetic but young and fun enough to match the vibe of her latest comedic effort. She also accessorized like a pro: Her hot pink Kurt Geiger pumps coordinate perfectly, while her lipstick is just the right shade to make her baby blues pop. The finishing touch? Her Jimmy Choo box clutch, which looks just like the cover of her book, Yes Please. In this outfit, Poehler definitely would be ogled all over camp.
