Andy Kim Leaves Weinstein Co., Joins Participant as CFO
David Hutkin has been named TWC's new CFO.
Andy Kim has been named CFO of Participant Media, which he is joining from The Weinstein Company, where he had been serving as CFO.
At Participant, Kim is replacing current CFO Bob Murphy, who has spent nine years in the post. At TWC, Kim will be succeeded by David Hutkin, who has been that company's executive vp, strategic initiatives.
Kim will report to Participant CEO David Linde, who made Monday's announcement. "Andy is a well-respected, accomplished executive with an extensive background in finance and media," Linde said in a statement. "His vast experience and financial expertise makes him an extraordinary addition to our executive team."
Kim, a Georgetown grad, has served as CFO at TWC since 2010, after first joining the company in 2005. Prior to that, he was senior vp, finance at Miramax.

Participant is currently in theaters with Peter Berg's Deepwater Horizon, and will soon release J.A. Bayona’s A Monster Calls.
