Anje Braune, Rotraund Grabmeyer Join Germany's Lailaps Pictures (Berlin)
Lailaps has backing from Swiss billionaire Philippe Gaydoul to fully finance or co-produce features up to $20 million.
BERLIN -- Anje Braune and Rotraund Grabmeyer have joined the executive ranks of Lailaps Pictures, the production outfit headed by producer Nils Dunker and actor Anatole Taubman.
Braune, former head of business affairs at projection house Collina Film, has been named general manager at Lailaps. Grabmeyer will act as a junior producer at the company, a role he played at German production house Hofmann & Voges. Both will report directly to Dunker.
Lailaps, which has financial backing from Swiss billionaire Philippe Gaydoul, plans to fully finance or co-produce features up to $20 million.
Upcoming projects include an adaptation of Peter Harris’ courtroom thriller In A Different Time, which Bille August will direct, and the cold war thriller The Spy of God.
