Anna Wintour has (finally!) made her debut on Vogue magazine's Instagram account.

With her classic bob cut and signature black shades, the editor-in-chief appeared Tuesday on the social media app covering half her face and holding the magazine's September Issue covered by Jennifer Lawrence

Since it is Wintour's first time making an appearance, it was only appropriate for the Condé Nast artistic director to have a professional photographer, named Taylor Jewell, take the shot.

Oscar de la Renta and Project Runway's judge Zac Posen also joined in for the #voguestagram fun.

Wintour, who is usually social media shy and has once said she hated the word blog, didn't start tweeting until this past June through Vogue's official Twitter account. Her subject of choice: the repeal of DOMA.
