What could hold more weight in the fashion world -- despite them both being rail-thin -- than the combo of Anna Wintour and Victoria Beckham?

We hear the Brits will team to host a dinner Oct. 25 in L.A., combining two formerly separate events -- a dinner for the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund and the British Fashion Council's London Showrooms dinner.

It will welcome such Brit designers as Jonathan Saunders and Mary Katrantzou for their Hollywood showing of clothes to stylists. Vogue only confirms it's holding a dinner with the BFC.
