Anthony Michael Hall Released From Police Custody
The actor was arrested for disturbing the peace after allegedly telling a neighbor he'd "beat him to a pulp."
Anthony Michael Hall was released from police custody on Tuesday morning -- about 12 hours after being arrested on the misdemeanor charge of disturbing the peace, the Los Angeles Times reports.
A neighbor alleged that the Brat Pack actor was destroying plants in his Venice apartment complex and that when he confronted him about it, Hall swore and threatened to "beat him to a pulp."
Police also say the Breakfast Club and Sixteen Candles star later returned to the neighbor's door and challenged him to a fight. That's when the man called police.
Hall also starred in Weird Science, and the former USA series The Dead Zone. He last appeared in NBC's Community.
