APA Elevates Two in Alternative & International TV Department (Exclusive)

Hayden Meyer joins the agency’s board of directors and Marc Kamler has been promoted to partner.

Two agents in APA's alternative and international television department have boosted their positions within the agency, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned. Department head Hayden Meyer has been appointed to APA’s Board of Directors, while his colleague Marc Kamler has made partner.

Meyer, who became partner in 2010, joined APA in October 2006 and became head of the agency’s nascent reality department a year later. That’s when he helped to hire Kamler, who was later promoted to vice president in 2012.

“Hayden and Marc have led the growth of APA’s Alternative and International Television Department into an industry leader in reality television represention,” APA president and CEO James Gosnell said in a statement. “They are exceptional colleagues whose vision and teamwork have been instrumental not only to the success of our clients, but to crafting the unique identity and unprecedented expansion of our agency overall.”

The AITV department’s client roster includes 5x5 Media, Super Delicious, Tremendous Entertainment!, Bill’s Market & Television, M2 Pictures, Mike Mathis Productions, Orion Entertainment, Icon Films, JV Productions and MorningStar Entertainment. The agency has helped its clients sell hundreds of projects, including TLC’s Leah Remini: It’s All Relative, BBC America’s Wild Things with Dominic Monaghan, WE’s Kendra On Top, Bravo’s Manzo’d With Children, Lifetime’s Dance Moms, NBC’s Betty White’s Off Their Rockers, Animal Planet’s Gator Boys, ABC Family’s My Transparent Life, Investigation Discovery’s My Dirty Little Secret, Destination America’s Monsters & Mysteries In America, OWN’s The Six Little McGhees and Genealogy Roadshow on PBS.
