APA Promotes TV Lit VP Lindsay Howard to Partner (Exclusive)
Her clients include 'Mom' co-showrunner Nick Bakay and 'Black-ish' co-executive producer Vijal Patel.
APA television literary vice president Lindsay Howard has been promoted to partner, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.
Since she ascended to vp in 2011, Howard’s deals have included installing Nick Bakay as co-showrunner and executive producer of CBS’ Mom, Vijal Patel as co-executive producer on Black-ish as part of his ABC Studios overall deal, Jill Blotevogel as showrunner and executive producer of MTV’s upcoming Scream reboot, Jeffrey Lippman as co-executive producer on NBC’s The Mysteries of Laura, Ed Yeager as co-executive producer on ABC’s Last Man Standing, and Elizabeth Klaviter as supervising producer on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy.
She also helped negotiate a new Disney Jr. deal for Craig Gerber, who created the network’s Sofia the First animated princess series and is launching its Latin-inspired Elena of Avalor spinoff.
Howard’s clients also include Soul Surfer writer/director Sean McNamara and writers staffed on shows including Homeland, Justified, One Big Happy, Lifetime’s upcoming Marti Noxon drama Un-Real, and WE tv’s upcoming Eli Roth-Jason Blum horror series, South of Hell.
