Apple continues to tap in to the fashion world for its new hires. A month after poaching Patrick Pruniaux from Tag Heuer, the tech company has hired Nike and Burberry's former social media chief Musa Tariq.
Tariq announced his new role on Twitter Monday, with the description "Digital Marketing Director, Apple Retail" added to his profile page.

According to his LinkedIn profile, he had been the global senior director of social media and community, digital brand for Nike since 2012. Prior to that, Tariq worked as the global director of social media and digital marketing at Burberry from 2009 to 2012, during the time that Angela Ahrents served as the luxury label's CEO for 10 years before joining Apple as its current head of retail.
With Tariq's background, we can only look forward to seeing what he'll bring to Apple.
