ARC Entertainment Acquires Rights for 'Louder Than Words'
The family-oriented drama is directed by Anthony Fabian and stars David Duchovny, Hope Davis and Timothy Hutton.
ARC Entertainment has acquired all the North American rights to Louder Than Words, it was announced on Tuesday.
Starring David Duchovny, Hope Davis and Timothy Hutton, the family drama is directed by Anthony Fabian, written by Benjamin Chapin and is described as telling "a powerful story of acceptance, love and deliverance."
"We're thrilled to have this heartwarming film and look forward to exposing it to a wide audience," said ARC Entertainment’s head of acquisitions Scott Moesta in an e-mail statement to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film is based on the true story of John (played by Duchovny) and Brenda Fareri (Davis), who founded the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, New York, in memory of their daughter, who died at a young age.
Louder Than Words was produced by Identity Films' Anthony Mastromauro (As Cool As I Am) and executive produced by Rod Lurie.
ARC Entertainment's recent releases have included Sweetwater, starring January Jones, Jason Isaacs and Jason Aldean, Big Sur with Jean-Marc Barr, Kate Bosworth and Josh Lucas, and Linsanity, a documentary about NBA star Jeremy Lin.
After Californication wraps later this year, Duchovny will then star in a 13-episode drama on NBC titled Aquarius, playing a Los Angeles police sergeant investigating a then-unknown Charles Manson.
