ArcLight to Present Second Annual Women in Entertainment Summit

The event will bring together such participants as Geena Davis, Bonnie Arnold, Rob Thomas and Kirsten Schaffer.

ArcLight Cinemas will present the second annual Women in Entertainment Summit, hosted by ArcLight’s executive vp Gretchen McCourt, on Nov. 10 at the Cinerama Dome in Hollywood.

Scheduled participants include: Geena Davis, founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media; Bruna Papandrea, producer and co-founder of Pacific Standard; Meredith Walker, co-founder and executive director of Amy Poehler’s Smart Girls; Susan Cartsonis, president of Storefront Pictures; Dalia Ganz; director, digital and partnership marketing for Freeform, Disney–ABC Television Group; I. Marlene King; executive producer of Pretty Little Liars; Bonnie Arnold, co-president of feature animation for DreamWorks Animation; Julie Ann Crommett: entertainment industry educator in chief for Google; Rob Thomas, creator of Veronica Mars; Diane Paulus, director of Waitress the Musical; Leah Butler, casting director, Casting Society of America; Mary Lou Belli, co-chair of the DGA Women’s Steering Committee; Jill King, senior vp, marketing and partnerships for Cartoon Network; Theresa Won, director, production and acquisitions for Myriad Pictures; Concepcion Lara, executive vp, evox Television; Suzanne Farwell, producer and director; Ellen McGirt, Fortune; Kirsten Schaffer, Women in Film; Wendy Haines, actress, director, producer, founder of iWe; and Julie Lynn, founder of Mockingbird Pictures.
