'Argo' Writer Chris Terrio Signs Rich Two-Script Deal at Warner Bros. (Exclusive)
Terrio is expected to tackle the first of the two projects after he completes an untitled crime thriller that reunites him with Argo producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov.
In his first deal since the huge box-office and critical success of Argo, writer Chris Terrio has signed a rich two-picture blind script pact with Warner Bros.
Details of what Terrio will be writing have not been revealed, but insiders say a reteaming with Argo director and star Ben Affleck is not out of the question; Terrio and Affleck got along like Americans and Canadians in a hostage crisis during the production of the acclaimed thriller.

Terrio is expected to tackle the first of the two scripts after he completes penning an untitled crime thriller that reunites him with Argo producers George Clooney and Grant Heslov. That project, set up over a year ago -- before his star took off -- also has Paul Greengrass attached to direct.
Terrio penned Argo, one of three of his scripts to land on the Black List, in 2010. Affleck liked the script so much that he bypassed his usual path of writing the projects he directs.
Released in September, Argo has amassed just shy of $99 million domestically and is an Oscar front-runner.

Terrio recently finished work on A Murder Foretold for Paramount, Indian Paintbrush and producer Steve Zaillian and is also writing the English-language remake of the French thriller Tell No One for Warner Bros.
He is repped by CAA and Anonymous Content.
