Arianna Huffington to Receive Adweek's Brand Visionary Award
The honor will be presented to Huffington at the award show on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at historic Guastavino's in New York.

Adweek is pleased to announce Arianna Huffington as the winner of the magazine's annual Brand Genius Brand Visionary award.
The honor, a celebration of Huffington's career as the chair, president and editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Media Group, will be presented to Huffington at the 2015 award show on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at historic Guastavino's in New York.
In 2005, Huffington founded The Huffington Post, a media brand that has since become one of the most popular in the world. And in 2012, the online news site received the highly coveted Pulitzer Prize for national reporting.
Huffington joins the ranks of past Brand Visionary award winners like Bono, Russell Simmons and Michael Bloomberg.
At this year's ceremony, Huffington will be honored along with rest of the 2015 Brand Genius class, including Adrienne Lofton, svp global marketing for Under Armour (apparel), and Michael Moynihan, vp marketing (toys) for Lego Systems. Every Mother Counts, a nonprofit that works to make pregnancy and childbirth safe for mothers worldwide, will also be honored with the second annual Brand Save award. The organization's founder, model and social entrepreneur, Christy Turlington Burns, will accept the award. (RED) won the inaugural Brand Save award.
