Arts Alliance to release Iron Maiden doc

'Iron Maiden: Flight 666' set for April launch

LONDON -- European digital cinema provider Arts Alliance Media said Tuesday that it will be rocking out with "Iron Maiden: Flight 666," the first feature documentary on the legendary heavy rock band.

AAM will distribute the documentary in selected cinemas here from April 21 this year in association with the band itself, EMI Records and Universal in the U.S.

The documentary details the story of the first leg of the band's tour last year and is billed as an "intimate and revealing portrait" of the rockers.

In 45 days, the band played in Asia, Australia and North, Central and South America, with lead singer Bruce Dickinson piloting a customized jet.
