ASC to honor Emmy-winning Morgan

Five-time Emmy-winning cinematographer Donald M. Morgan has been tapped to receive the first American Society of Cinematographers career achievement in television award. Morgan shot the television movies "Something the Lord Made," "Out of the Ashes," and "For Love or Country: The Arturo Sandoval Story." He also has compiled some 70 film credits including the horror movie "Christine," and the sci-fi adventure film "Starman." Morgan and director Jospeh Sargent recently collaborated on their 10th project together: CBS's upcoming "Sybil," a remake of a the 1976 television movie about a woman with a severe multiple personality disorder. The cinematographer will be feted at the 21st annual ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards at the Century Plaza Hotel on Feb. 18.
