Ashton Kutcher's 'Jobs' Biopic Release Date Pushed Back
Open Road Films wanted more time to market the film, which was set to open April 19.
Moviegoers will have to wait a bit longer to see Ashton Kutcher playing Steve Jobs.
Open Road Films is pushing back the release of Jobs, which was scheduled to hit theaters April 19, the 37th anniversary of the founding of the Apple Computer. A new date has yet to be determined (the film previously was titled jOBS).
Insiders tell The Hollywood Reporter that Open Road wanted more time to market the film, which was fully financed and produced by Mark Hulme's Five Star Feature Films.

The biopic, directed by Joshua Michael Stern and written by Matthew Whitely, made its world premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival. Jobs chronicles the Apple co-founder's ascension from college dropout to one of the most revered entrepreneurs of the 20th century. Part of the film was shot in the historic garage where Jobs first set up shop at his family's home in Palo Alto, Calif.
Jobs also stars Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Lukas Haas, J.K. Simmons and Matthew Modine.
CAA packaged Jobs, and Inferno Entertainment is handling international sales.
