'Bachelor' Producer Achieves Twitter Celebrity After Thanksgiving Flight Altercation
"Diane" in 7A may be rethinking some of her Thanksgiving behavior if she's seen how she's been received by the Internet since her delayed flight was live-tweeted by Elan Gale.
The Bachelor producer spent part of his Thanksgiving engaging with a rude passenger, known only by her first name and seat number, on his US Airways flight -- and his account of the events has already seen his follower count double to north of 71,000.

Gale, who has a verified account, first tweeted about Diane's aggressive behavior with several flight attendants before exchanging aggressive notes in a seemingly unsuccessful attempt to get her to lighten up.
"Please accept this glass of wine," reads one. "It is a gift, from me to you. Hopefully if you drink it, you won't be able to use your mouth to talk!"
Diane was not amused. Several notes later, when Elan was waiting for her at the gate, she slapped him in the face. Worry not for Elan, though. His dispatches have been retweeted thousands of time, and he scored quite a bit of attention on the otherwise sleepy holiday.
He also summed up his motivations quite nicely in a recap of the harrowing flight: "Be nice everyday, but if you see a man or a woman working on a holiday you better respect that they would like to be with their family too. So have some compassion and have some appreciation. Most people do. Most people are great. And then there are a bunch of Diane's in the world. And it's OUR job to tell every Diane to shut up."
Check out a selection of some of his finer tweets below -- and heed his words, Dianes of the world:
Our flight is delayed. A woman on here is very upset because she has Thanksgiving plans. She is the only one obviously. Praying for her— elan gale (@theyearofelan) November 28, 2013
The male flight attendant said "I understand ma'am. I'm looking forward to seeing my family too." She responded "This isn't about you"— elan gale (@theyearofelan) November 28, 2013
