1. She was rejected by Brad Womack.
On the ABC show last season, she competed for Womack's heart. Even though she was sent home, she wants to stress one point: "A misconception people have when they watched the show is that I'm insecure," she tells People. "I am so secure and confident and a lot of what happened between Brad and me brought out some weird side of me that doesn't define who I am."
2. She's a brainiac.
She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maine with a BS in biology and will graduate in May from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine with a 3.96 GPA, according to her web bio.
3. Several "gorgeous" men are vying for her heart.
She tells UsMagazine.com that some of "the best guys [the show] has ever had" are featured this season, adding that her suitors include "a variety of men, different personalities, different jobs. Physically, they were gorgeous! ... I'm happy with the way things turned out for me."
4. She gets to travel to several exotic locales.
This season of The Bachelorette brings Hebert to such eclectic spots as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Las Vegas and the Fiji Islands. One stop also includes astop at a Thailand orphanage where she and the bachelors go on a “group date” to help renovate the property.
5. Her definition of a romantic date is....
On her ABC bio page, she says her ideal alone-time with a guy would consist of a night staying in, "a bottle of wine, music and a roaring fireplace."
